LPMS Math Grading Policy

The math department at Linus Pauling uses a

90% of the overall grade is based on Assessments. Assessments include quizzes, tests and projects. Retakes will be offered on most quizzes, but not on end of unit assessments. Students will be required to complete a retake form. The highest score a student can achieve on a retake is 80%.

10% of the overall grade is based on homework and classwork. Homework is assigned on average 3 - 4 nights per week and is to be completed in your math spiral. Unless stated otherwise, it is due the following day. You are responsible for correcting your homework
